Organizing Tips Let's Organize the Pantry! First things first--rummage through your fridge and cabinets and throw out all the expired foods (start doing this on a weekly basis--the day before trash day--it'll keep you on top of preparing foods and eating left-overs before they go bad). Take things out of their packaging and containers for recycling. Donate any foods still good that you no longer want--call your local church or food bank to drop off the goods. If you kick the soda habit, you will save so much space in your pantry and fridge! Replace bottled water with a filter on your tap or buy a couple of reusable BPA Free water bottles. De-clutter the mass junk food--just have a small snack attack basket in your pantry above eye level to ease temptation.
