The Last E-Newsletter, "Cool Ways to Get Rid of Stuff," was a big hit! So I've added more local resources for your savvy donations!

Not in the East Bay? No worries--many on my list aren't. I've also listed alternate ideas.

Art/Craft Supplies Weighing You Down?
The East Bay Creative Reuse Depotlocated at 4695 Telegraph Ave in Oakland, CA is a treasure cove for left-over and unwanted art/craft supplies. Even those oddball, misc items that would normally be trash, are brought here to be turned into masterpieces!

One cool thing this place does is art classes for kids!

Not near Oakland, CA? Drop off your art/craft goods at a local art school, theatre school, community college art classroom.

OfferUp App
Offer Up App

Cool App that helps you sell your clutter to local neighbors, making pick-ups MUCH easier and much more likely to sell your items. Highly Recommend! Download this free app today and start taking pictures of your worthy items.

Advice: If it's under $50 resell value--donate it and get that tax write-off receipt. Your time is worth money. Don't deal with selling something for mere dollars when it's going to take time to answer people's messages and arrange a time and wait for it to be picked up (if they show at all). DONATE.
