2) Autopays and paperless are the way to go if you have reliable, steady income where you can easily budget.

3) Make your autopay bills on the 15th of the month since your largest bill of rent/mortgage is always the 1st of the month. This gives you some breathing room between paychecks to pay your bills mid-month without stressing so much.

4) Delete subscriptions you don't use to save money instantly. Check app subscriptions on your phone settings, delete amazon subscriptions, quickly scroll through your bank history on your mobile app to find where oddball subscriptions are popping up, stop the magazine subscriptions, quit downloading apps that cost money.

5) Use the Snowball Method! The Snowball Method is a debt reduction strategy, where you pay off credit card accounts starting with the smallest balances first, while paying the minimum payment on larger debts. By doing this, you quickly eliminate debts, and then have less money going out each month as you pay off an entire debt.

6) Consolidate bank accounts. One client had 10 bank accounts with 3 different banks, and she had no idea what was in each account.

7) Name your savings accounts--you'll be more likely to keep adding money if you have, "College Tuition," or "Down payment for House," or "Money to Live Off of When my boobs hang to the floor."
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
8) Keep ONE change jar in your house. Use a pretty vase with a wide, open mouth that your hand can easily fit in. Add your dollar bills and the occasional $20 to make it fun when you use it for an emergency or towards your next trip. Take your change to Coin Star at your local Safeway. Add it on a gift card--Safeway even has Disneyland and AirBNB gift cards to help you travel more!

9) That foreign money you've been saving as memorabilia--take it in to your bank and exchange it to your savings account.

10) Pay your savings account FIRST to get out of debt faster by stopping the perpetual cycle of not having money in an emergency and having to use credit cards to pay for things when you run out of money. Paying your savings account first and foremost ensures you always have a cushion.
