Organizing Tips
Happy Mother's Day Weekend to ALL the Mothers out there, whether bio, step, foster, adoptive, grand, great-grand, mom to furbabies, or otherwise! We appreciate YOU and all that you do, all the caring you have and all the time you give! Thank You!And on the Topic of Mother's Day, comes the topic of Gifts, which brings us to this week's topic for Organizing Tips:
Got Gift Guilt? Have family and friends given you gifts you don't like/use/want? Happens to everyone! Don't feel guilty--return/exchange the item for something you DO want or will use. You can also donate, sell or re-gift the item. Write them a thank you note and it will help ease your guilt.
Best Gifts to Get that Don't Add Clutter:-Gift Certificates/Cards for Restaurants, Massage, Local Day Spa, etc.
-Simply ask them what they really want and if it's a big item, chip in towards that item.
-Forego gifts that have a lot of pieces to them.
-Forego the ever usual kitchen gadgets, bathroom spa sets (think lotions, perfumes, lofa basket), decor items, and other things that people tend to already have too much of.
-Stay away from the clothes racks--guessing colors, sizes, fit, style, etc is too hard and best left up to the individual person to go shopping.
