Meet the Team!
I have VERY exciting News! Bay Area Professional Organizer is GROWING! I've hired a personal assistant and additional organizer, and will continue to hire more organizers and a receptionist to support the additonal business growth!

We are excited to share our bi-monthly e-newsletter with Organizing Tips and Tricks, Before & After Photos, Motivational Support, Light-Hearted Jokes and Much More!

So without further ado, it is my honor to introduce you to the BAPO Team!

Meet Kiera Rain,
Owner/Pro Organizer
Kiera Rain is a Professional Organizer for Homes, Offices and Businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been a professional organizer since 2003, and has her own full-service professional organizing company named Bay Area Professional Organizer. Kiera focuses on the mental/emotional aspects of disorganization: Hoarding, OCD, ADD, Anxiety, Depression and Grief. Kiera also works with those in Life Transition and the "Simply Busy Person."

On a Personal Note:
Kiera has lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, and moved to her dream state of California in December 2010, where she has happily settled down. Kiera has a son born on Earth Day 2012. She enjoys movie collecting, reading, hiking, nature photography, kayaking, and chasing waterfalls.
Meet Kay Williams, Professional Organizer
Kay has over 15 years experience as a Professional Organizer, and has a background in Interior Design! She has been featured Twice on TLC's TV Show Hoarding: Buried Alive, with additional requests to be a guest on Oprah,
Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil.

We are thrilled to have Kay as part of our Team of Organizers! Kay is gifted in working with clients who are struggling with hoarding. Kay and Kiera work together on Hoarder Estate Clean-Outs. She is also an expert Move Manager, helping clients with home or corporate re-locations, packing/unpacking, and decorating. She also performs general organizing for homes and businesses in the Bay.


On a Personal Note:
Kay's favorite things to do are swimming, hiking, going to wineries in Napa, spending a day window shopping at various Antique Shops and Boutiques. She loooves French Bulldogs, and her favorite local hotspot is Downtown San Francisco.

Susan Waters, Personal Assistant
Meet Susan Waters, Personal Assistant
Susan Waters is an asset to the company--she is Kiera Rain's personal assistant. She helps with scheduling, calendar record-keeping, payment processing, payroll, networking events and workshops, and much more! We are lucky to have such a hard-working and focused assistant!

Clients call Susan a great listener and very kind.

On a Personal Note: Susan's hobbies are knitting and crocheting, kayaking and camping. Susan has lived in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Guam and California! Susan is married, has two adult sons and a Chihuahua named Bella.

Q. What is your greatest strength?
A.
 Being able to accept people with where they are in life, without judging.

Q. What are some Inside Secrets you have, or advice to customers who want to Hire a Professional Organizer?
A.
 I would want to know that the organizer I'd be hiring lives an organized life, too. And since I'm in Kiera's home several days a week, I can tell you she keeps a very organized home.

Debbie DeSousa has her own business where she sells things for clients of Bay Area Professional Organizer. She is better than a consignment store or pawn shop, in the fact that they take 60-70% of the profits, while Debbie does an even 50/50 split. She has a large van to come pick-up items for clients. She then researches, prices, lists the items for sale, answers everyone's questions and responses to the ads, ships the items--she does it all for you! She then mails the clients a check or sends it straight to their PayPal account.

Providing this service allows clients to clear the clutter, make some money, and allow the Organizers to be able to Organize the space once the clutter is gone.

Please Note: Debbie does NOT take furniture. Furniture is best sold on Craiglist, Local Furniture Consignment, or simply move to the curb with a Free Sign On it. If it's Junk Furniture, not good enough to donate, Ivan the Junk Hauler can remove. Debbie also does not sell clothes--clothes are best donated.
