Kitchen Scrubbies 101

  1. Did you know that you can throw your dish scrubbers in the dishwasher? Hand wash and microwave works, too. Regularly do this to kill germs/bacteria.
    2. I personally recommend the Scrub Daddy scrubber and the new upside-down Dawn Squeeze Bottle for easy hand-washing.
    3. Throw away all those nasty scrubbers.
    4. Find a holder that ACTUALLY works for your space for all the actively-using scrubbers. Choose a model that drains well, airs out well, doesn't cause mold. I turned a pretty red vase into a scrubber caddy for one client's sink.
    5. Store active scrubbers by kitchen sink; store excess under the kitchen sink.

How to Tackle Book Clutter

Tidy Up Tip: Spruce up your bookshelf with unique, cool, funny, eye-catching bookends.

📚How to Purge Your Books:

1) Overwhelmed on where to start? Go top to bottom of your bookshelf, left to right, one book at a time, just like reading a book. ;-)

2) Look at one book at a time, about 2-5 seconds per book, decide: "keep/dont keep," make it your mantra. Had it forever and still never read it? Don't keep. Sentimental? Keep. Already read it and not gonna re-read it? Don't keep. Outdated tech/medical/travel--recycle. Molded/Damaged? Let it go.

3) Drop book donations at your local school, library, senior center, rehab center, community center, Free Lil Library, thrift store. Have a bunch of boxes of donate? Task Rabbit app and Lugg app are same-day on-demand haulers.
